PROGRAMS

We offer a full time discipleship program, customized Internship program, and our very own YouthStorm School of Ministry. All three of these expressions are carried out in the context of thriving Jesus-centered community. Simply said, we prepare individuals for life!

  YouthStorm School of Ministry
This is our academic expression, which focuses on intense, classroom-based, theological education with classes that range from foundational courses such as Redemptive History and Genuine Christianity to more advanced courses such as Old Testament Survey, Systematic Theology, and Prophetic Leadership. Our classes are taught by men and women who have been trained by both seminary education and ministry experience, most carrying Masters Degrees or higher.

  Courses include:
  • Identity Formation
• Making of a Leader
• Experiencing God
• Firm Foundations
• Old Testament Survey
• New Testament Survey
• Church History
• Community and Christian Living
• Systematic Theology
• Genuine Christianity
• Christian Disciplines
• Discipleship and Evangelism
• Roots of Character

Please note: At this time, the YouthStorm Training Center is not accredited.

  Discipleship Program
The YouthStorm Discipleship focuses on the spiritual development of the disciples through daily personal devotion (independent study, journaling, worship), small groups (godly relationships, accountability, prayer), one-on-one mentoring, academics, and regular ministry events.

In addition to the above-named classes Disciples and Interns will take part in the YouthStorm Prophetic Training Days, Prayer Furnace teaching and hands-on training, as well as be a part of the ongoings of administration, worship team, and event planning. As part of the Crossing churches, they will take part in classes and discussion groups in JWAY (cell-based groups), the Crossing Encounter Weekends, and the School of Leaders within the Crossing church structure.

  Internship Program
The YouthStorm Internship is our second track of development incorporating a further emphasis on character and spiritual growth while adding the aspect of ministry development.

Interns are thrust into the ministry of YouthStorm and experience leadership in administration, team building, vision casting, and more!

Housing, Meals, and Finance for Discpleship & Internship Programs
On-site housing will be provided to all disciples for the duration of their respective program.

Disciples are responsible for their own food with the exception of weekly community meals. Disciples may also be assisted with food from local donors and food banks.

Disciples must raise $450 each month for the program through raising support and/or work. Disciples are responsible for all personal items including auto insurance, vehicle maintenance, toiletries, and food.

A maximum of 20 hours a week may be given to work, school, or free time. This must be scheduled around the discipleship/internship commitment.

Job opportunities MAY BE available on a first come first serve basis through our marketplace ministry emphasis.
