- Churches unite from different places around New England
- Website launched to communicate with parents while on missions in EU
- First Summer week long “Base Camp” done in conjunction with church from RI
- There is a desire in young people for a greater purpose; and a desire in the Church for unity

- Unity in youth gatherings (NH and RI Gatherings)
- CD Project unites in music (“Awakened” CD)
- Intra-Church officially launched (training other churches in youth ministry
- YouthStorm has a giftedness for training leaders

2001 |
| |
- Ingrid Shaw and Andrew taylor joins FT (enables Shawn to do more visioneering as staff grows)

2002 |
| |
- David Midwood begins mentoring staff
- Headquarters move to 5000 sq. ft. office space in Windham NH
- YS Europe is launched in the Netherlands
- Prayer Furnace is launched after Shawn visits IHOP in Kansas City (International House of Prayer)
- Internship is first launched to intensive discipleship of young people
- Prayer is the source of life in the ministry
- God has a purpose for YS overseas
- We begin to see the counter-productivity of just holding conferences without understanding all the factors influencing lives and churches outside the conferences

2003 |

- YS purchase building in Lawrence MA (with $200,000 gift) and begins renovations (to become staff housing used to this day)
- Professional office space acquired in Methuen MA for administrative work
- We are being transitioned into urban settings and different cultures

2004 |

- Wayne Shirk leaves YS Board; Kurt Michelson and Ralph Gerlach are voted on
- Staff moves to new level of responsibility as Shawn and Steve go to full-time school (GCTS)
- “Emerging Church” launched (a home church plant in NH)
- High school-age summer Internship launched
- First multimedia produced
- There is a need for youth ministry to be family-based
- YS is to reach the other generations as well.
- There is power in media as a form of communication

- Shawn and Steve graduate from GCTS
- Crossing Windham begins
- YouthStorm Bangor is launched (July)
- Crossing Bangor begins house church (December)
- WAVES is launched
- House church does not prove to be what is needed to expand our vision as much as a traditional church to reach more people.

| |
- Multiple CD projects released by WAVES
- YouthStorm joins 40 Day fast in Boston in Harvard area with JHOP Boston (the Justice House of Prayer)
- Crossing Bangor begins Sunday AM services (September)
- We are gifted in creativity
- Renewed vision for fasting and prayer and radical surrender to God

- Crossing Boston is launched
- Crossing Netherlands is launched (December)
- WAVES begins wedding services
- SummerStorm replaces annual “BaseCamps”
- First God Encounter Weekend experienced by Crossings
- Explosion in church growth (the Crossing) from newly saved as well as from “transfer” growth
- Realization that doing the same thing that we have always done is often counterproductive
- New wave of desire to see people healed inwardly and saved

- YS Europe grows as they take on FT staff and require firmer commitments from other team members
- Crossing congregations grow!
- First “Envision” gatherings (as a result, there is a renewed sense of YS’ calling to unite and equip the region)
- God Encounter Weekends go to a whole new level - reaching literally hundreds of people throughout New England and Europe. Multiple salvations, deliverances, and people filled with the Spirit.
- Large Financial gift given to the Crossing church; Crossing grows exponentially in financial freedom from YouthStorm
- NH Headquarters move to new office space (70 North Broadway, Salem, NH) – WAVES moves lessons and office work to same address.

- First Prophetic Training Days
- A feeling of God’s blessing is upon us in areas of ministry, salvations, growth, business, and finance

- Crossing congregation is given most attention - to facilitate growth at home in order to have platform and model of what God has done in our midst

- Team grows and assessment of next stage of ministry
- Crossing congregations continue to grow
- Property for headquarters is found
