>> NETHERLANDS MISSION TRIP

"Well, we are leaving to Delft then Belgium in a few minutes. You can spread the word to start praying for Jeff and Rosalie... We will officially start the Crossing, Almelo on Sunday!!!!! (Right now, it appears Jeff and Rosalie will be launching it alone for now…not for too long before God brings them plenty of help though…HA HA )

The whole atmosphere over here in the Spirit has shifted amazingly…such unity, such transparency. There were 30% more people at the encounter than last time and the majority were new. There is also a lot of momentum started with pastors to embrace the JWay. JC (Alzamora) is really helping to spread the Word, quite a enjoyable and effective partnership. Also, the next Dutch Encounter will be the weekend of May 16." - Shawn Foster (email on Feb 25)

>> BORDERS CAFE OUTREACH

We had a sweet time jamming out at Borders Bookstore Cafe in Methuen on Feb 23. God's Spirit was really there as we got to sing His praises. So much favor. Tons of people listening and good conversation with people after and during who are on their way to meeting Jesus AND with our new friends from King of Grace Church in Methuen - rip it up, guys!

>> HUCKABEE AT THE CROSSING CHURCH

The president hopeful Governor Huckabee asked to speak at the Crossing Church in Windham NH on January 6, 2008 (YouthStorm having had him previously at a Prayer Furnace Training Day). The place was packed as we had lively worship and were very aware of the presence of the Lord. Huckabee spoke on being a soldier for the Lord and stayed away from any real political discussion. Following the service he went and spoke to the media and public at a chowder fest sponsored by the Lobster Tail restaurant down the road.

>>EUROPE ENCOUNTER GOD WEEKEND REPORT

Kirsten:

The postencounters are great!! Its so good to share everything with each other and have new people starting to taste the freedom that God gives. The Holy Spirit is really doing His job there in our lives. IT was so cool to hear all the testimonies of some of the other girls. ( Rianne, Nicole and Esther) Man, God has been buisy in the encounter and after that. IT;s amazing. He is amazing. So much revelation about all the bounderies that held us down and are holding us down. We keep on reaching out for total freedom!!
Even non christians seem to notice things in the spirit. I had collegues saying things to me that were totally in line with everything we spoke about during the encounter. That was crazy. I was very suprised!! They said that I looked like a princes and we discussed that in the encounter about being in His Kingdom and being royal!!
And I have been feeling so loved by God deeper than before the encounter. And one collegue just said: Oh you are so loved...They never say things like that.....
Thats crazy but confirms that God did a great thing. Now I'm praying that He will touch their hearts.

Kirsten:
Hey everybody,
I was wondering about testimonies from the encounter weekend.
So if you've been there, leave us a message, so we can encourage each other with all the GREAT things our God has done!!
For me, He has confronted me with lies in my life of which I knew that they were there, but I kept on living in them. God has delivered me from this.
It felt like such a complete relief to talk about the influence of sin and to be really set free in different areas!!
Because he who has been set free by the Son is free indeed!

Sammy:
What a blessed weekend!
I got many answers and have also been able to let go of a big burden, giving it over to our Lord! I'm FREE!
I met many new brothers and sisters, experienced new things and have also come to a big decision! There's more to come!
This was/is an unforgettable weekend.
God bless

Zefanja:
What a blessed weekend!
For me it was a very confronting weekend. I didn't know I had so many open doors still… It was like God held a mirror up and said: This is who you really are and we're going to deal with this stuff… So heavy, intense and deep… and that I was filled with the Holy Spirit during the last session and spoke in new tongues was the ultimate climax for me.
I also got to know many brothers and sisters…
God is good!!

Andrea:
This was my second Encounter Weekend… but definitely not less impressive (so this is an encouragement for people that have been to the weekend now to come the next time again ;))!
It was amazing to see how God touched and changed people!
To speak for myself: To know that you don't have to be perfect as a Christian is very liberating!! This is something that I really learned over the weekend. I CAN'T do anything out of my own strength, and don't WANT to do anything out of my own strength! And I don't have to judge myself (I can forgive myself) when I've done something wrong.
We do not have to hold on to mistakes when God has forgiven us (whether it's about our own mistakes or mistakes of others). Isn't that amazing?
And I want to encourage everyone to not let go and to run with it: THE KINGDOM!

Rianne:
It was a SUPER WEEKEND!
God did amazing things and I really got to know myself.
God delivered me from many things, too many to mention.
I was very encouraged and I can't wait until next Sunday, then we'll continue with the post encounter in Eemnes. Isn't that amazing?
I hope to see you there.

Nancy:
Hey everyone,
I had an amazing weekend, had to face many things and know where I have to start with letting go. God really opened my eyes and I know I still have a lot of work to do, but I know I'm going to make it. My life is not just painful, God is going to use everything. Nothing is for nothing. He will make everything work for the good.
I'm going to do my best to be there the next time. Freedom is amazing! And God is awesome!

Natalie:
FREEDOM….
Yeahyeah, I really experienced that God wanted to deal with things that didn't belong in my life. And that He, the Almighty, filled me even more with His Joy/Love. He truly is my Redeemer. We left everything behind our old doors and God gave us new doors…
To encourage everyone: "Lord, pour out Your mercy upon our Land instead of the judgment we deserve. Deliver us from pornography, abortion, murder, stealing, lying, corruption, fraud, destruction, and violence. Keep us from being polluted by all that pollutes our culture, so that we many come before You with pure hearts and clean hands.
Expose all sin in us and WASH US CLEAN."
This was the daily text for Monday November 19th 2007. Isn't He awesome…
See you Sunday in Eemnes….
Joyfully, Natalie Lefeu

Armand:
God is good,
He has touched my spirit, soul and body last weekend. He has taken away the barriers in my life and gave me freedom and joy instead.
He also did an amazing work in my marriage with Natalie!!
Victory in Jesus' name!
Blessings,
Armand

>>EUROPE TRIP UPDATE November 15

Had a tremendously long day yesterday... Our flight left Boston two hours
late which caused us to miss our connection in Zurich. We took a later
flight to Paris and landed 5 hours late. We missed the first service but
the church received us warmly in Dieppe and kept a meal hot for us until we
arrived. We ate at 11:00PM... then had a glorious nights sleep!

>>EUROPE TRIP UPDATE November 10

The first meeting tonight in France was really awesome. Shawn said he’d preached here twice before but this was the first time anyone ever responded for prayer. We had a guys prayer team and a girls prayer team. We saw people laugh and release joy for the first time in a long time! Of course God brought up some deep issues with individuals a we were able to lead to new found freedom! Pastor Ost I believe is really excited of the discipleship aspect for his church and is asking a lot of questions. Some of what he saw tonight he told me he’d never witnessed before. He was really observing closely. He said he’d never seen them open up like they did and express emotion… we had both crying and laughing!! Anyway.. it was a great time!

>>HUNGER MOUNTAIN

Shawn and the team went to minister in VT with many of our friends from Jericho, Derby, and Hunger Moutain. It was a good time of connection, prayer and prophetic insight into the season of God for VT and New England. A big shout out to the Silva's for their incredible hospitality for the guys. The following day we went to Northfield area to minister to a college football team at Norwich University with some of our good friends there. Thanks Dan for your heart after God. Keep going and He will answer in even more spectacular ways!

>>HALLOWEEN OUTREACH

This past Halloween we went to Salem MA again and were allowed to connect with brothers and sisters in worship and preaching in the heart of the city among the many festivities of halloween. We found an incredible ease in worship and an atmosphere very filled with God's presence. Praise Him! It is His city.

>>SALEM MA JAM

On Essex St in Salem MA on Friday the 26th of October we got to play in the open mall courtyard on stage worshipping the true King of Kings, our Savior. It went very well and you could sense the nearness of Jesus there. We got to preach the gospel to many and witness about the saving grace of God. Praise Him!

>> MENS' and WOMENS' ENCOUNTER WEEKENDS

Wow, the excitement is exhilarating as you hear the testimonies of so many lives changed and "rocked" by our King! 36 women and 40 men (many unchurched) went to the gender-specific weekend retreats focusing on their relationship with God - with large emphasis on Jesus' sacrifice and the Spirit's living power in each of us. Several were saved in a most incredible way, filled with the Spirit, and set "ablaze". Contact us for more info on the Crossing's next Encounter weekends. You will be changed!

>> BASECAMP/IOSF

A fabulous time it was this past August at IOSF at Gunstock Mountain Resort. There were so many miracles in peoples' lives it is hard to remember them all. From salvations, miracles, and intense worship this is a must do/see event for next year for anyone in the area!

>> 10 DAY PRAYER INITIATIVE (May 17-27)

We joined intercessors from the New England area for 10 days of prayer and delighting in God on behalf of our region. Located in beautiful Northfield MA it was a good time of unifying between the generations and calling out hope for our region.
